This website provides information about the annual South Australian excellence award in honour of the late Bernadette Bean’s outstanding leadership and other significant contributions to the records management industry for over 30 years.
Welcome to the Bernadette Bean Records Management Service Excellence Award website for eligible South Australians (SA).
This annual award recognises and celebrates demonstrated records and information management; archives management; knowledge management; and history, cultural heritage, museum and library collection management service excellence by current, new or past eligible SA practitioners, groups / teams, students, researchers, historians, volunteers and other individuals.
It is awarded in honour of the late Bernadette Bean’s outstanding leadership and other significant contributions to the records, information and archives management industries for over 30 years.
The award provides a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and showcase the best and brightest professionals in the industry; fund small initiatives; and help shine a light on records and information, archives, knowledge, history, cultural heritage, museum and library collections, management practices and solutions which contribute to local, regional or State memory or culture.
